About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (License #2713) with over 20 years of experience in evidence-based therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In my private practice, I work with children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and family therapy, and I also lead psychotherapy groups. My clinical focus includes anxiety disorders, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), mood and eating disorders, and a range of counseling areas like interpersonal relationships, grief, and parenting support.

I hold a Ph.D. and M.A. in Clinical and School Psychology from Hofstra University in New York, where I developed my skills in research and clinical practice across diverse settings, including psychiatric hospitals, schools, and university counseling centers. My experience extends to academia as a former professor and director of an undergraduate psychology program at an American University in Greece, where I spent seven years teaching and developing courses.
I am dedicated to continuous growth, actively participating in conferences and embracing lifelong learning to deepen my expertise and share valuable insights with my clients and the wider community.
